Shanghai Research Institute of Building Sciences (SRIBS) has won the bid for the project of Zhendalu Automobile Industrial Park
Recently, Shanghai Research Institute of Building Sciences Co., Ltd. (SRIBS) successfully won the bid for the Baolian Automobile—No. 570 Zhendalu Automobile Industrial Park project, a subsidiary of the Baolian Group. As a pilot project for the architect-led model in the field of urban renewal, the project has received significant attention and strong support from the Baoshan District Construction and Management Committee, Baoshan District Dachang Town Government, and the Baolian Group's Wumao Co., Ltd., ensuring the smooth progress of the project. This further promotes the transformation and high-quality development of the regional economy. This achievement marks another breakthrough in SRIBS's urban renewal service team's active exploration of the architect-led model, contributing to high-quality urban construction and making strides in the practice of urban renewal.
In this renewal project, the design concept is centered around "revitalization," with a focus on "activating underutilized land" and "efficient resource reuse." Through meticulous planning and comprehensive renovation design, the once-abandoned warehouse will be transformed into a vibrant automotive service industrial park, driving the transformation and upgrading of the regional industry.
The team provides comprehensive services for this project, including planning and design (urban renewal), consulting, engineering surveying, structural testing, engineering design, project management, full-process cost consulting, procurement management, and construction management. By adopting the architect-led model, they ensure high-quality product delivery and create added value throughout the entire process, from planning to design, construction, and final handover.
This project not only highlights SRIBS's proactive response to the high-quality development demands of urban renewal but also underscores the institute's relentless efforts in innovating service models and enhancing project quality within the construction industry. As an active practitioner in urban renewal development, SRIBS will continue to support government and industry advancement, contributing to the creation of a better, smarter, and more sustainable city.
